  3. Sunday’s paper class moves to Monday. You post in five WhatsApp groups. Explain why a mother still arrives on Sunday.[4 marks]
  4. Classes must stop before a national exam, and the date has moved. Write out the new timetable for three batches, twice.[5 marks]
  5. A student on the bus tells her mother your name. The mother types it into a phone. Nothing comes up. Describe what she thinks.[6 marks]

Marking scheme.

  1. The timetableBy grade and batch. Changed the week it changes, from one WhatsApp message to us.[  ]
  2. Subjects and mediumSinhala, Tamil or English. Grade 5, O/L or A/L. Theory, revision and paper classes, named the way parents name them.[  ]
  3. The teachersBy name if they agree, with the qualifications they can show.[  ]
  4. FeesBy the month and by the class. What a card costs and when it is due.[  ]
  5. The hallThe bus, the halt, where to leave a bike, where a parent can wait.[  ]

What goes on your Google listing

Fill in the blanks.

The name over your door1 is a tutoring service2 at the right pin3. The office is open the hours someone answers4. There are real photos of the gate and the hall5 and two fresh notices a month6.

  1. Exactly as parents say it. No subjects or “best” added.
  2. Or school, or educational institute. Whichever is true.
  3. On the gate, under your own Google account. Google may ask to verify it, and that can take time.
  4. Not the class hours. A parent rings the office.
  5. So a new student can find the door on the first Saturday. No children’s faces without permission.
  6. New batch, new paper class, a moved date. In the price.

The timetable changes all the time.

Send it on WhatsApp. Up to 30 minutes of edits a month are in the price.

I teach in three halls.

One website can carry all three, each with its own timetable and directions. A Google listing needs a real place with your name on it, so a hall you only rent may not qualify. We tell you before we start.

Can you print our results?

Only results you can show, with the student and a parent agreeing. We print nothing we cannot check.

Will this fill the hall?

We cannot promise that. We make sure a parent who types your name finds the right answers.
